Rhacophorus – The Flying Frog
Rhacophorus – The Flying Frog
Rhacophorus is a common genus of tree frogs inhabiting Africa and South Eastern Asia. It is characterised by large webs developed in between the much elongated digits (toes). Webs and flattened body serve as a parachute in gliding from one tree to another, so that they are designated as ‘Flying Frogs’.
