Motala, age 50, lost his foot after stepping on a land mine. Thanks to the dedicated workers at the world’s only elephant hospital Friends of the Asian Elephant (FAE) located in Lampang, Thailand, and he received a new prosthetic leg. Above picture, A mahout removes the third prosthetic leg from Motala. This is his third prosthetic leg, because according to his weight change.
