Distribution: These perrenial plants are native to Eastern Asia,extending from Siberia to Japan. These bloom in late spring and early summers, best growing in shady areas.
Description: These poetically named plants bears spectacular heart shaped flowers from which a ‘little drop of blood’ swings at the bottom.The green compound leaves provide for fern like attractive foliage with flowers blooming on long arching stems. The flowers may be pink ,red or white coloured. The striking feature of the plant is the shape of the flower. No doubt about that these heart shaped flowers have pink outer petals,and white inner petals with a spur at the base.
