West Bengal, India: A herd of deer has been given shelter beside Harihar Police Station, Murshidabad. Not only that, as the above picture shows, the policemen also feed the baby deer with feeding bottles with motherly care. This story of humanity of these policemen has drawn attention of many. These men of law have shown us that cops are not only saviours of human, but they may also be the saviours of the helpless wild animals. We salute these men, who hadn’t pushed these helpless creatures away, but accepted them with immense love and care. The Govt. of West Bengal has awarded this police station as a ‘model police station’.
