The honeypot ant is a perfect example of nature’s strategy to survive in bad time. The honeypot ant or honey ant is a normal ant species, but they have adopted a special strategy to survive when there is lack of food. Some of the working ants eat food and divert it into sweet syrup and save them in the abdomen. For that, there abdomen grows big like a pot. Sometimes a size of a grape. When there is lack of food, other ants eat syrup provided by those honey saver ants.
