Most Holi colors sold in the market are oxidized metals or industrial dyes mixed with engine oil and various harmful chemical materials.<\/p>\n

Lead Oxide (Black): Risk factor: Renal failure, learning disability<\/p>\n

Copper Sulphate (Green): Risk factor: Eye allergy, temporary blindness<\/p>\n

Chromium Iodide (Purple): Risk factor: Bronchial asthma, allergies, etc<\/p>\n

Mercury Sulphite (Red): Risk factor: Skin cancer, minamata<\/p>\n

Have you ever wondered how to make the festival of colors(Holi) natural and healthy for our environment and ourselves? Did you know that Holi festival can be fun and harmless if you play with environment-friendly natural colors. These are not only cheap but can also be made easily at home.<\/p>\n
