Thus, they are quite likely to shrink as the years go by, and ultimately turn into plains. Geologists have also claimed that in the future they might fall off the map completely.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>New leaves in a plant replace the fallen leaves within a season, but it takes millions of years for a mountain to stand.
