It is found in Chile, Bolivia and Argentina. The bird has a size of the lesser flamingo and closely related to the Andean flamingo. The new born chicks are brown and they don&#8217;t gain the colours until they are 2-3 months old. James&#8217;s flamingos can be found both in large groups and in pairs.
