\nA native of Southeast Asia, found in tropical areas of Southern Pakistan, extending through India to Myanmar, and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n
\nOne of the most beautiful of all the tropical trees, this medium sized tree can be seen growing everywhere. The leaves are compound and oval in shape. Bright, yellow & vibrant flowers are produced in pendulous racemes, bursting into a mass of long grape bunches.
\nThe tree shows profuse flowering during summers, when the whole tree is covered with flowers and almost no leaf is seen.<\/p>\n
\n1. This is the National flower of Thailand ,and the state flower of Kerala.
\n2. Its a popular ornamental plant seen along the streets.
\n3. The scented flowers are used in rituals during Vishnu festival.
