World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day was founded in 1922, just after World War I. The purpose behind it was to advocate for the relief of humans suffering from diseases and a goal of seeing a world free from suffering. The day, 8th May is the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, the founder of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).<\/p>\n

The Red Cross is like an angel who guards us and helps us to recover our sufferings, listen to our cries and do its best to solve them! A great salute to the Red cross volunteers for\u00a0their\u00a0hard work\u00a0and sincerity towards the human welfare.
