It is located in northeastern Vietnam. These are the wet sea islands. It has two seasons- a hot and moist summer and dry and a cold winter. The average temperature ranges from 15\u00b0C to 25\u00b0C and annual rainfall is between 2000mm and 2200mm. H\u1ea1 Long Bay has the typical diurnal tide system The salinity is from 31 to 34.5MT in the dry season and lower in the rainy season. The many islands that dot the bay are home to a great many other species, including 477 magnoliales, 12 pteris, 20 salt marsh flora, 4 amphibia, 10 reptilia, 40 aves, and 4 mammalia.
