It weights about 150-200 gm.Its back is covered with small dark brownish fur and the belly is covered with soft white fur. It looks adorable with tiny body and big black eyes. Like all other flying squirrels,it too has a pair of gliding membrane between its legs.<\/p>\n<p>Habit and habitat: Japanese dwarf flying squirrel is a nocturnal animal, at daytime it rests in its burrow or tree holes and become active after dusk. It is vegetarian and feeds on leaves, fruits, seeds, bud and nectar.
