They are mostly found in swamp areas with water plants. Adult fisher grow to a length of about 3 inches. Thought the Betta fishes kept in aquarium displays numerous colors which is the result of selective breeding. Wild Betta fishes are dull green or\u00a0brown. Betta fishes are known for their beautiful and long fins and wild betta&#8217;s have much shorter fins than the captive ones. Bettas fishes show beautiful colors during this courtship. To lay eggs, they form a bubble nest by mixing bubbles and\u00a0saliva, a floating platform near water plants or rocks. They keep their eggs wet\u00a0until\u00a0they hatch.
