Distribution:
Cycas are a kind of Gymnosperms native to tropical Asia.

Description:
They grow up to 2-5m high with palm-like leaves. They appeared about 300 million years ago. They produce flowers and seeds, but seeds are not covered. Cycas reproduce through spores by producing megaspores(in female plants) and microspores(in male plants).

Importance:
